How do I book a session and what is your cancellation policy? ▼

Book your session online through our Book a Session page. Your appointment is reserved once payment is completed at checkout. Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Deposits/payments are non-refundable for cancellations made within 48 hours or for no-shows. An engineer is included with every session, and there is no minimum hour requirement.

How much does a session cost and when is payment due? ▼

All services are $75/hour. Payment is required at the time of booking to reserve the session. We accept major credit/debit cards and available online payment methods. Memberships offer discounted studio rates along with exclusive member benefits.

What are your studio rules? ▼

We are smoke-friendly – the only studio in Rockford that allows smoking. You may bring up to 2 guests. You are responsible for any damage caused by you or your guests. Clients are responsible for respecting all studio equipment and property. Please clean up your workspace after your session. Weapons are strictly prohibited. Late arrivals still count toward the reserved session time. Outside engineers are not allowed unless approved by Roc x Royal Studios. We are open 24/7 by appointment.

Artist Memberships – bi-weekly plans Royal Memberships – weekly plans

Both include discounted rates and exclusive benefits. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. Unused hours expire and do not roll over.

What services do you offer and what do they include? ▼

Recording – engineer, unlimited takes during your booked session time, session files available upon request.
Mixing – balance, EQ, compression, 2 revisions.
Mastering – final polish, loudness, 24-48hr turnaround.
Beat Making – custom beats, any genre, stems or MP3.
Streaming – live studio sessions, $4.99/month, subscriptions double as studio credit.

All studio services are $75/hour.

How does beat licensing work? ▼

We offer 5 license tiers: MP3 Lease, WAV Lease, Trackout Lease, Unlimited Lease, and Exclusive Rights. Non-exclusive means others can still use the beat. Exclusive means you own it – the beat is removed from the store after purchase. All sales are final. All licenses are subject to the terms and conditions of the selected license tier. Publishing and royalty splits are handled according to the selected licensing agreement.
