MEET JOEL ZAVALA
"J-Z LA MELODÍA MUSICAL"
Joel Zavala, known as J-Z "La Melodía Musical", was born in Pasadena, Texas and raised in Moroleón, Guanajuato. He began his music career at 18 and graduated from Madison Media Institute with a degree in Recording and Music Technology. He is a certified Pro-Tools operator with proficiency in Logic and Reason.
Joel has worked with major artists including Fuerza Regida, Eden Muñoz, Adan Cruz, Faruz Feet, Rich Vagos (Geassassin, Bipo Montana), and Alex Gargolas – one of the founders of reggaeton. He has opened shows for Ozuna, Ken-Y, Pusho "EL MVP", and J-Alvarez.
Joel owns Roc x Royal Studios – 3 professional recording studios (2 in Rockford, Illinois + 1 in Guadalajara, Mexico) and 1 podcast studio in Rockford, Illinois. To date, he has released 1 mixtape, 2 collaborative EPs, and 2 studio albums including his most recent, "RASPAR".
